1. Minimum Account Age: 16+
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use Heard That.
Anyone under 16 is prohibited from using the service. Parental permission does not create an exception to this minimum age.
Users who are below the age of legal majority where they live must have a parent’s or legal guardian’s permission to use the service.
2. Adult Content: Strictly 18+
Music and other material designated by Heard That as adult, mature, or explicit content are restricted to users aged 18 or older.
This includes content designated as restricted because of explicit language, sexual themes, or other mature material. Where applicable law sets a higher minimum age, that age applies.
Users aged 16 or 17 may not access adult content under any circumstances, including with parental or guardian permission.
3. Accurate Age Information
You must provide truthful age information and complete any age checks required to access restricted content.
If your eligibility cannot be established, access to adult content may be denied.
Providing false information, using another person’s account, or attempting to bypass age restrictions is prohibited.
4. Strict Enforcement
Heard That has a strict, non-negotiable policy against underage access to adult content.
We may restrict access, suspend accounts, or terminate accounts involved in age misrepresentation or attempts to bypass these restrictions.
Adult users must not share account access with minors or help minors access restricted content.
5. Reporting Concerns
If you believe content is incorrectly labeled or accessible to an underage user, report it through the Contact page. Include the relevant song, artist, or page and a brief explanation so we can investigate.
