1. Agreement to These Terms
By creating an account or using Heard That, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
These terms apply together with our Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy, and Age Restrictions & Content Policy.
2. Account Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use Heard That. Anyone under 16 is prohibited from registering or using the service.
If you are 16 or 17, or otherwise below the age of legal majority where you live, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these terms.
You must provide accurate account and age information and keep your login credentials secure. Misrepresenting your age, sharing account access, or helping another person bypass age restrictions is prohibited.
3. Adult Music and Restricted Content
Music or other material designated by Heard That as adult, mature, or explicit content is restricted to users who are at least 18 years old.
Users aged 16 or 17 may not access this content, even with parental or guardian permission. If a higher minimum age is required by applicable law, that higher age applies.
Heard That maintains a strict, non-negotiable policy against underage access to adult content. Attempts to bypass age restrictions or provide false age information may result in restricted access, account suspension, or termination.
4. Free Trial
Eligible new accounts receive a 14-day free trial. No subscription fee is charged during the trial.
When you enroll in a trial with automatic paid renewal and authorize recurring billing, your subscription automatically converts to a $10 USD annual membership at the end of the trial unless you cancel beforehand.
The checkout will display the subscription price, trial end date, and applicable billing terms before you confirm enrollment.
5. Subscriptions and Billing
Membership costs $10 USD per year, plus any applicable taxes disclosed at checkout.
Your subscription renews automatically each year until cancelled. By authorizing recurring billing, you permit our payment processor to charge your selected payment method at the end of your trial and on subsequent annual renewal dates.
We will notify you in advance of changes to subscription pricing and obtain any consent required by law. You may cancel before a price change takes effect.
Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. Heard That does not store your full payment card number.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel automatic renewal through your account dashboard. If you need assistance, contact us through the Contact page.
Cancel before your trial ends to avoid the initial subscription charge. If you cancel during a paid membership, access continues until the end of the paid subscription period unless your account is terminated for a violation of these terms.
Subscription payments are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. Cancellation does not provide a full or prorated refund for the current subscription period.
See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for further details.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Copy, redistribute, sell, or commercially exploit streamed music without authorization.
Share your account or allow others to use it.
Scrape, bulk-download, or bypass protections on the platform or its content.
Circumvent age restrictions or help anyone else do so.
Upload or share unlawful material or content that infringes another person’s rights.
Interfere with platform security or use the service for an unlawful purpose.
8. Music and Intellectual Property
Music, artwork, branding, and other content remain the property of their respective rights holders.
Your membership provides access for personal, non-commercial listening through the platform’s authorized features. It does not transfer ownership or grant permission to reproduce, distribute, publicly perform, or otherwise exploit the content.
Playlists may be created and shared using the platform’s intended features. Catalog availability may change, and access to any particular song, artist, or album is not guaranteed.
9. Service Availability and Account Termination
We may temporarily interrupt access for maintenance, security, or technical reasons.
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts for violations of these terms, fraudulent activity, attempts to bypass age restrictions, or conduct that threatens the service or other users.
Termination for a violation does not entitle you to a refund, except where required by law. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Updates and Contact
We may update these terms as the service develops or legal requirements change. Updated terms will display a revised effective date, and we will provide additional notice or obtain consent where required.
For questions about these terms or your account, contact Heard That through the Contact page.
